Nick A. Murray was born sometime last century, and still isn’t quite sure what to make of the new one. His formative years were split between Scotland and England, and this had the odd effect of removing his Scottish accent. This wasn’t such a bad thing, as it wasn’t a particularly interesting one.

Returning to the north-east of Scotland after leaving university with an engineering degree, he spent far too many years looking after computers and the poor people who had to use them. He has hopefully left behind the IT world for good, but only time will tell. He now lives in semi-rural Perthshire, and his first novel, The Ceremony of Mercy, was published in spring 2014.
