For posterity, here are egregious typos that have made it past my proofreaders 🙂

To open, one from Return to Eden, roughly 85% of the way in. In this scene, they’ve been battling against the unnatural gale to reach the plateau:

“There was a bark from behind, and Rik skidded into the back of Gill’s legs. If Matt hadn’t been supporting her, she would have been bowled off her feet. Even so, after giving him a quick hug, she shook herself free and knelt down to see if the dog was alight.“

Of course, she was actually making sure Rik was alright!
